PepID - Multi-Peptide and Peptide Library Builder and Expression System
PepID is a system for "breaking down" protein coding sequences into peptide fragment of defined length. These electronically dissected sequences are then synthesized as compact DNA libraries. The peptides can be released with a simple restriction digest for individual subcloning into an expression system of choice.
PepID can be used to screen and validate antibody libraries, to differentiate patient from non-patient sera, to determine unique autoantibody repertoires, etc.
